Just a post to share some embroidery that I did on Denise’s bag. Denise was my swap partner for the bag swap organised by the ladies from Rhonda’s ‘Down-to-Earth’ blog. I am dreadfully behind on my swap and Denise has been good enough not to get too annoyed with me.

Also wanted to share a drawing that Jess did for her assignment at school. The houses in our area are called ‘Ashgrovians’ because of their very distinctive style.

I would love to see photos of those interesting houses, too. What a great drawing!
Your embroidery is pretty! “Ashgrovian”? - love it. Very unique.
Beautiful embroidery Sandra.
And the sketch of the house looks great. I’ve never heard them called ‘Ashgrovians’ before but I would have called it a typical ‘Queenslander’.
And she can sketch wonderfully.
oh my, Sandra. That embroidery is lovely. I’m sure Denise will love the bag. The drawing Jess did is wonderful, it shows the character those house typically have. Well done Jess!
Thankyou for your kind comment on my blog. I lived in an Ashgovian on high blocks many years ago. Love the drawing and your embroidery.
